UNIVERSITY OUTREACH COUNCIL
Adopted in 2008 by the Center for Educational Outreach (CEO), the University Outreach
Council (UOC) is comprised of University of Michigan faculty and staff representing various
schools, colleges and units dedicated to educational outreach and engagement. Through
monthly meetings, annual programs and continuous networking, the UOC fosters collaboration
and sharing best practices among faculty and staff across the U-M campus. These events,
accessible in person and virtually, serve as vital platforms for discussing outreach initiatives,
celebrating achievements and promoting professional development. The UOC's commitment to
a culture of collaboration and innovation enhances the university's impact on K-12 education
and community engagement. This dynamic community is essential in driving forward the
university’s goal of making a profound and positive impact on education at all levels.
