COLLEGE ACCESS & SUCCESS
AMBASSADORS
The College Access & Success Ambassadors (CASA) initiative at the Center for Educational
Outreach enlists the expertise of current university students to augment direct service
initiatives. These student leaders, hailing from an array of academic disciplines and diverse
cultural backgrounds, demonstrate a robust commitment to the principles of diversity, equity,
inclusion, and community service. CASA members provide K-12 students with guidance and
advice about the college-going experience that is grounded in their proximate experiences.
Ambassadors facilitate a rich dialogue through interactive student panels, deliver comprehensive
educational workshops, and lead invigorating tours across the campus landscape, thereby
fostering an environment that encourages academic aspiration and accessibility.
CASA Goes Virtual

This transformative period includes the transition
to virtual campus visits and interactive student
panels, extending CASA’s reach to middle and
high schools throughout the state, regardless of
geography.
CEO harnesses the transformative power of near-peer dialogues,
