WOLVERINE PATHWAYS
Wolverine Pathways (WP) is a free, year-round college readiness program for seventh through
12th graders from Detroit, Southfield, Ypsilanti and two-partner schools in Grand Rapids. Scholars
participate in year-round programming that facilitates their college preparation and academic
development. Programming includes academic summer camps, pre-college courses taught by
University of Michigan faculty, paid internships, SAT prep and college application support.
Graduates of Wolverine Pathways who are admitted to the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor and
Dearborn campuses) receive a four-year tuition scholarship. 52% of WP alumni have been
admitted to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor — double the overall U-M admissions rate.
