Zoom, keeping the event alive until a return to
the classroom in 2023.

Program Name Change
Name changes from SWIP to CoPhIE. The organization
is renamed to better reflect what it stands for.
SPOTLIGHT
CoPhIE performs physics demos as part of F.E.M.M.E.S. (Women+ Excelling
More in Math, Engineering, and Science) every fall and winter semester,
catering to elementary and middle school students, predominantly girls,
from nearby schools. It is a place to demonstrate how women can, and do,
excel in STEM by creating a space where the participants can learn and
interact with physics. As part of F.E.M.M.E.S., the participants make thank
you cards for the volunteers.
