PHYSICS LECTURE DEMO LAB
The Physics Lecture Demonstration Laboratory (PLDL) at the University of Michigan is a service
group that works with professors in physics, astronomy, mathematics and beyond to provide
physical examples of the content discussed in introductory classes to students. This gives
students context and engages them in the learning process. There are over 1,000
demonstrations covering an array of topics that can be presented to visiting K-12 student
groups, sparking excitement in science for years to come.
