CEO’S COVID NARRATIVE OF
RESILIENCE AND INNOVATION
With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, Michigan schools and educational programs
shuttered their in-person programs. With uncertainty as to how long buildings would remain closed,
teaching gradually moved online. Amidst these unprecedented challenges, the Center for Educational
Outreach (CEO) exemplified unwavering resilience, boundless innovation, and remarkable adaptability
with a steadfast commitment to its campus colleagues and K-12 partners. By embracing new technologies,
fostering collaborations, and transforming its strategies for a virtual environment, CEO navigated these
challenging times and emerged more robust and prepared for the future. CEO demonstrated that in the
face of adversity, resilience and adaptability can transform obstacles into powerful opportunities for
growth and impact.
