BUILDING CAPACITY AND CONSULTING:
ENHANCING U-M'S OUTREACH INITIATIVES
CEO’s focus on building institutional capacity has significantly increased the impact of U-M’s outreach efforts.
Project Inspire, assisted by CEO, grew from working with nine student organizations to offering funding and training to
25+ groups through five formal workshops.
The Faculty Structured Outreach Support Fellowship expanded from supporting seven faculty from LSA Chemistry,
Social Work, and SMTD through four projects, to nine projects with 11 faculty from LSA Math, SMTD, Aerospace
Engineering, Kinesiology, Education, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmacy, Michigan Law, and Social Work. This important
work is currently paused due to funding restrictions.
CEO's stragetic cross-campus collaboration partners increased from three to 12 partnerships by 2022.
