CEO’S TIMELINE OF OUTREACH IMPACT
U-M Hosts PCC for the First Time
CEO hosts the Michigan Pre-College and Youth Outreach
Conference at U-M, which is then established as an annual
conference by Dr. Collins and the PCC team.
University Outreach Council Revamps
The CEO team brings UOC under its umbrella to
establish this community of practice as a crucial
support system for all staff and faculty invested
in outreach.
PROP 2 is Passed
Proposal 2 is adopted by Michigan
voters in November 2006, going into
effect immediately.
Recommendation of a Final Report
Watson Scholarship is Founded
The task force delivers the Diversity Blueprints
Final Report, recommending a center for
educational outreach.

CEO Begins With Strong Leadership

MCAC is Formed
One of the first College Advising Corps cohorts in the
country begins in eight Michigan schools, hiring recent
U-M graduates to serve as high school college advisers.
Wolverine Express Visits Its First School
The CEO team begins the school visitation program for faculty and
staff to share their college-going journeys with high school students.
