“My mom is a single parent who finances all of my endeavors. I work two part-time jobs, and have
prepared to offer my savings to help pay for the program tuition as I really want to attend. I attend
Kalamazoo Central H.S. I belong to leadership organizations such as Men Of Purpose Inc., and Kappa
League. I have also participated in Project N.O.M.A. This program provided me with an opportunity to
work with peers and industry professionals. Currently, I am taking a CTE course in Construction Trades,
which also helps prepare me for my future career in Real Estate Development.
I am so grateful to have been selected for a program as prestigious as ArcStart. This summer camp will
help me to reach my future academic goals as I will be more familiar with the material and expectations.
The insights, direction, and connections will aid my growth and provide me with a pre-college experience.
